Long-term installations for BMW expanded

Bluetooth Marketing network for BMW at the airport of Hamburg expanded.

The Bavarian premium automobile manufacturer, who already operates a large beamzone network at the Lufthansa terminal at airport Munich on the baggage claims and with special exhibit areas, expands its service to the North. From now on, passengers can load mobile contents from BMW onto their phones while waiting for their luggage or standing next to the exhibit area. The large scaled kick-off campaign puts the new BMW 5 model in focus. Travellers can directly download pictures and videos of the first class limousine via Bluetooth.

Bluetooth meets Blue Motion

BCN realises Proximity Marketing installation for Volkswagen at the Geneva Motor Show.

Two trendsetting technologies will come together at one of the most important automotive exhibitions worldwide. Blue Cell Networks and Fishlabs will equip the booth of one of Germany?s most admired automotive brands with a Proximity Marketing installation. ?It´s time to Think Blue? reads the claim of the actual campaign, ?it´s time to activate Bluetooth? the one of the booth. Visitors will be able to download information of the two new economical models onto their phones, right between the cars. Amongst a practical area plan of the booth, videos of the Think Blue Challenge and an animation with tips for fuel-saving driving will be available on altogether three Bluetooth hotspots.

Valentine with Swisscom

BCN with innovative LED solution for Valentine´s campaign

Blue Cell Networks realizes a spectacular, nationwide POS campaign at shopping windows in 19 cities in Switzerland for the mobile carrier Swisscom. The imminent Valentine´s day is the perfect reason to display Swisscom´s love for their customers. Amouros are able to share their feelings on large LED displays, they only need to send a shortcode SMS. Next to the obligatory play-out of a Swisscom wallpaper and HTML content with multilingual submittals, Blue Cell Networks realized an innovative customized solution. The Bluetooth hotspot beamzone serves next to its obligatory purpose, also as reception and processing medium to bring the SMS content, widely visible and brightly illuminated, onto the LED display.

Fiat goes large

Big poster campaign in German metropolises

Fiat promotes its brand new Fiat Punto Evo, connected the Slogan "Drive the Evolution - Download completed", with a, in true sense of the words, large campaign. In Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Stuttgart big posters with the new car of the Italian manufactor are installed at housewalls at crowded places, such as the Potsdamer Place at the German capital. "Download completed" is also the buzz word for the mobile phone user, after the successfull Bluetooth transfer of pictures, videos and 360 degree views of the Fiat Punto Evo.

Largest campaign ever at Bluetooth City Net

Bluetooth City Netz turn magenta

T-Mobile draws attention towards the new music identification software Shazam with the largest campaign at the Bluetooth City Net ever. 250 poster sites at German metropolis are equipped with the beamzone technology of Blue Cell Networks to provide information of the Shazam software. Furthermore passers-by can download a song-mix of the German newcomer band "Sternblut" via
Bluetooth. The campaign lasts two week from 27th October.

IAA MINI

MINI drives with Bluetooth installation of Blue Cell Networks.

The cult brand MINI ist celebrating it´s 50th birtday this year. Interested visitors can experience the the latest MINI models at the IAA in Frankfurt. The car manufacturer relies on Bluetooth to reach its target group. In combination with the agencies Plan.Net Mobile and MKT Blue Cell Networks equipped the areal and the MINI booth with beamzone® technology. Visitors are able to download digital give aways and a fare map. At the booth itself, the visitors can prove its "coolness-factor" and transfer the photos of its apperance to the mobile device.

Blue Cell Networks realised the first area-covering airport Bluetooth® marketing network for BMW at the Munich airport baggabe claim area. The premium automobile manufacturer, who already runs a plethora of digital signage installations at terminal 2, expands its communication to the mobile world. The digital signage stations were furnished with beamzones® to reach waiting passenger more effectively. Multimedia content of latest car models (5 series GT) is transfered via Bluetooth® onto the mobile devices.

Sony Ericssonused beamzone® at advertise at 25 selected T-Mobile Point of Sales for its latest mobile devices. In Bratislava an other Slovak cities information boards in T-Mobile stores indicated the Bluetooth® Download with image videos of the Sony Ericsson phones.

Automotive promotion with Bluetooth®

Beamzone® drives topless with the Fiat 500 c at German´s largest airport.

In cooperation with Media Frankfurt, Blue Cell Networks equips a spectacular promotion for the new Fiat 500 c and the Rhein Main Airport in Frankfurt, Germany. At Terminal 1, the convertible version of the Italian bestseller with an integrated beamzone® is placed headlong from the ceiling. Further promotion area at the floor indicated the Bluetooth® download, thus the new small car model will come alive at the mobile device. The installation is in process until end of the year.

Blue Cell Networks and our Austrian partner Media2Max, the communication agency from Vienna, campaign for a good cause.

The Bluetooth specialists equip the Life Ball in Vienna with Bluetooth hotspots. The Life-Ball is Europes largest fundraiser in favour of Aids sickened people and the Aids research. The yearly event happens at the Vienna townhall with the ball and the famous fashion show. Blue Cell Networks and Media2Max support this event with 12 beamzones® who are installed at central locations like the entry and info-points. Guests can download programm and aftershow party information with their mobile devices. Media2Max and Blue Cell Networks provide this service free of charge in support of the Life Ball.

Subway relies on Bluetooth Marketing

Within a pilot project, the worlds largest sandwich chain Subways uses Bluetooth at the Bamberg downtown restaurant to spread current news and coupons.

Handys up! claims Sub Wayne the customers. They are informed by Bluetooth download about current sandwich offers like Sub of the day and menues. Since from the year dot Subway relies on coupons as promotion tool, now a new mile stone was reached by using mobile couponing. On presentation of the mobile coupons the customer will get a discount or a free sample at the Subway restaurant in Bamberg.

o2 "Drive to Store" at Marienplatz/Munich

Blue Cell Networks and Stroer implemented an innovative project to the mobile provider Telefónica O2 Germany within the Bluetooth City Networks: Grant scheme for first-home buyers by Bluetooth!

This claim on interactive poster sites invite passers-by to receive a coupon onto the mobile device for a o2 footmat. This coupon can be redeemed at the nearby o2 flagship store. Overall three sites at the Bluetooth City Networks of Ströer are used with the beamzone technology in the heart of Munich.
At our flagship store we let the world of o2 come alive. The Bluetooth poster sites in Munich expand this world and lure clients in a ludic way to our POS, states Sebastian Prange, Vice Presidnet o2 Shops

Innovativ boarding

The boarding pass at the mobile device - this enables the Lufthansa mobile check in since 2008. For the distribution of the mobile check in channel Lufthansa relies on Bluetooth® solutuions of Blue Cell Networks.
Colorama posters and installations at Lufhansa lounges are used for the communication at German airports. Due to the success of this innovative Bluetooth® campaign round two stards in spring 2009.

Bluecell Networks and our Slovak partner In Blue implemented a Bluetooth marketing campaign for Escada "incredible me". At 10 stores of the Slovak perfume retail chain FAnn beamzone Bluetooth hotspots were installed and sent out promotion content to the mobile devices of the shop visitors. Due to the incredible success the campaign was expanded to Spanish metropolis Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia as well as repeated in Slovakia.

For an out of home campaign of the new Mercedes GLK, giant posters in Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt have been equiped with beamzones.

Passersby with Bluetooth enabled mobile phones can download a wallpaper, a screensaver, an interactive car configurator and a showroom of the new GLK for free.

Bluetooth-Marketing seizes now Out of Home media sites in Switzerland.

Blue Cell Networks and the Swiss brand-entertainment-agency B6 Brand Emotion launched the first Bluetooth-Poster Campaign in Switzerland for the communication-provider Orange. At 08-09-08 the Street Parade took place in Zurich.

This year's Street Parade motto of FRIENDSHIP evokes peaceful, responsible treatment of our fellow human beings, the environment and, of course, ourselves.
House and Techno fans used the beamzone hotspots to download Nokia ringtones and wallpapers to their mobile phones. 
Responsible for the campaign was agency MPM, Switzerland. 
 

Universal Pictures "Mamma Mia" Promotion

beamzone brought the current Universal Pictures "Mamma Mia" movie to the mobile phones of cinemagoers.

Thanks to installed beamzone Hotspots within CinemaInfoTowers in UCI cinemas in Germany visitors had the possibility to download a WAP link to the universal online portal, the video trailer and wallpapers for free via Bluetooth. The campaign took place between 07-17 and 07-30-2008 within cinemas in Berlin, Bochum, Cottbus, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Potsdam.
 
 

Record download numbers at the Nokia Greenfield Festival

From 13th ? 15th June the Nokia Greenfield Festival, Switzerland?s largest open air music event, took place.

Enthusiastic festival-goers used the beamzone hotspots to download Nokia line-up htmls, ringtones, wallpapers and prize vouchers to their mobile phones.  The download acceptance rate was 45%!
Responsible for the campaign was agency MPM, Switzerland.
 
 

Mindmatics is the Winner of the Interactive Poster Award

With its concept for Schiesser, Mindmatics won over the top-class jury of the Interactive Poster Award by Blue Cell Networks, Jost von Brandis and Ströer.

The award honours interactive marketing concepts combining mobiles and posters. Simone Ashoff, Managing Director of Jung von Matt/Next GmbH on the winning concept: ?The idea is really clever: The poster motif starts with a story which is then resolved on the mobile phone [?].? The award ceremony took place in Munich on 5th June, and the winning campaign was broadcast in 30 locations of the Ströer City Network from 2nd ? 10th June.

Ströer expands Bluetooth City Network 2008 to 300 Locations

Ströer expands the Bluetooth City Network to 300 beamzone systems ? Blue Cell Networks develop a special hardware solution for the exterior advertising sector.

Blue Cell Networks and the Ströer Group start the new year with a collaboration: Together, the Bamberg-based company and Germany?s market leader in exterior advertising, who have been cooperating since 2007, want to expand the existing Ströer Bluetooth City Net from currently 30 to 300 systems. The first beamzone systems are expected to be installed from April of this year.

beamzone at the European Music Awards 07 for O2

O2, the Munich-based mobile phone service provider, will use beamzone systems during the MTV European Music Awards on 1st November 2007.

During the event several mobile beamzones will be uses in rucksacks of promotion teams. During the MTV European Music Awards this enables guests to download multimedia contents, such as for instance two event wallpapers or a ringtone, to their mobiles for free via Bluetooth after expressively consenting to it.

From 15. to 21.3. ZDF (the second channel of German television broadcasting) is using beamzone at the CeBIT 07 in Hanover.
